Information and availability

Planning note

Menus, offerings, event information, imagery and other website content are provided for general information. They may change as our service, season and venue plans evolve. Photographs communicate atmosphere and may not show every current offering.

If a detail matters to a planned visit, please confirm it directly before relying on it. We do not guarantee the availability of a particular menu item, service, date, time, seat, area or activity. Chef-led dining, cocktails, social gatherings and the dedicated offline poker and card lounge are all subject to the arrangements and circumstances of the day.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the website’s design, photographs, text, brand materials and other content are protected. You may view and share the website for ordinary personal purposes, provided you do not remove notices, suggest an unsupported affiliation, or present the material as your own.

Any link to an independent third-party website is provided for convenience only. Gilded Card House does not control that website or its content. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms, privacy information and practices.

03 Planning a visit

3. Reservations and visits

Reservation and enquiry status

A request or enquiry is not confirmed until Gilded Card House communicates confirmation through the relevant booking channel. Please provide accurate contact details and, where relevant, clear group information so we can understand what you are planning.

A request is not a confirmation.

Once confirmed, your arrangement may include practical details specific to that visit. Those details can cover the plan we have accepted and should be kept with your booking information.

Changes, cancellations and group plans

If your plans change, please let us know as early as practicable. This is especially helpful where party size, dietary needs, accessibility needs or event requirements change. Our ability to accommodate an update can vary with availability and the arrangements already in place.

  • Keep your contact and group information accurate.
  • Tell us about changes to attendance or planned timing.
  • Share dietary and accessibility information relevant to the visit.
  • Read and follow any conditions supplied for a confirmed reservation or event arrangement.

Arrival and service considerations

Please arrive ready for the confirmed plan and follow reasonable directions from the team that support service, comfort and safety. Seating, timing and access to venue areas may be managed according to the day’s service and your group arrangements.

As a contemporary Australian restaurant and supper club, our menu and service availability can also be affected by operational circumstances. We will take reasonable care in managing the experience, while asking guests to remain flexible where a practical adjustment is needed.

04 House standards

4. Venue experience and respectful conduct

A shared social setting

Gilded Card House brings together chef-led dining, cocktails, conversation, social gatherings and an in-person offline poker and card-lounge experience. The card lounge is a hosted social setting centred on physical tables, cards, conversation and considerate participation.

The atmosphere depends on care for the room and the people in it.

Guests are expected to respect the shared setting and to follow reasonable directions from the team or host. This helps dining, conversation and card-lounge participation move comfortably alongside one another.

Conduct, comfort and safety

Please treat staff and other guests with respect, take appropriate care of the venue, and follow reasonable safety and service directions. Disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, unsafe or damaging behaviour is not consistent with the experience we aim to provide.

Subject to applicable law, Gilded Card House may take reasonable steps to protect guests, staff, property and the shared experience. Those steps are considered in context and are intended to support a comfortable, respectful environment.

Respect peopleSpeak and act with consideration toward staff, guests and hosts.
Respect the spaceCare for furnishings, tables, cards and shared areas.
Respect directionsFollow reasonable guidance that supports service, comfort and safety.

Cards, equipment and participation

Physical cards, tables, furnishings and supplied materials should be used carefully and only as directed. Participation is social and optional where applicable. Please respect table flow, fellow participants and host guidance so that everyone can enjoy the setting.

Spaces and hosted activities may vary from visit to visit. If a card-lounge element matters to your plans, confirm its availability when arranging your visit.

05 Group planning

5. Private events and group gatherings

Event enquiries and written details

An event enquiry begins a planning conversation. The arrangements that apply are those confirmed by Gilded Card House for the specific event. A proposal, discussion or preliminary indication of availability is not itself a final confirmation.

Organisers should provide accurate date preferences, estimated guest information, dining needs, accessibility considerations and the desired format. This helps us understand whether the plan is for a private group, corporate gathering, birthday celebration or another shared occasion.

Timing and spacesCommunicate changes to timing or planned use of venue areas.
Accurate promisesDo not make commitments about the venue that Gilded Card House has not confirmed.

Event experience and changes

Operational, safety, service or availability considerations can require reasonable adjustments. Where practicable, we will communicate material changes. Dining, cocktails and card-lounge elements may form part of an event plan where separately confirmed, but availability and practical details remain specific to the arrangement accepted for your event.

Your confirmed event details are the practical reference point.

06 Practical matters

6. Personal property, photography and communications

Personal property

Please take reasonable care of your personal belongings while visiting the venue. If you need assistance with an item left behind, notify Gilded Card House promptly and provide enough information to help identify it. Responsibility for personal property is handled subject to applicable law, and nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Photography and respectful sharing

Guests should be considerate when taking or sharing images, particularly around other guests, staff, private groups and the card lounge. Please seek permission where appropriate and follow reasonable directions from the team or event organiser. Dining, social gatherings and the offline poker and card lounge all involve shared spaces where privacy and comfort matter.

Venue photography or recording may be communicated in context where relevant. We do not claim a blanket permission over every image, and we ask everyone to consider the room before recording or sharing material that includes others.

Communications and records

Please provide accurate information in an enquiry or booking-related communication. We may use communications to respond to you, administer bookings and manage a visit in line with applicable policies and law. Do not use venue communication channels to submit unlawful, harmful or inappropriate material.

Please use reasonable care when relying on website information and planning a visit. Information on the website is general in nature, and a confirmed arrangement remains the practical reference for a specific reservation, group plan or event. This clause is not intended to remove protections that apply to you by law.
